Folk 'N RollCAPITOL RECORDS DIGITAL REISSUE

1966 — Jan & Dean's twelfth album for Liberty Records.

Batman featured one hit single and two strong album cuts co-written by Jan Berry, two Wrecking Crew instrumentals, and seven tracks and comedy sketches penned by members of Berry's inner circle.

This LP spoofed the 1966 Batman television series starring starring Adam West and Burt Ward. (The TV program was already a spoof of the long-running DC Comics series, whose Batman superhero dated back to 1939).

The comedy sketches were underpinned by background music and connectors arranged by Jan Berry and George Tipton.

The album's original liner notes were written by Bruce Roberts.
