Jan Berry's 1958 Corvette Jan Berry's 1958 Corvette
Jan owned this classic rod when it was destroyed (along with the Berry home on Linda Flora) in the famous Bel-Air Fire of 1961. When he bought the car new in 1958, it was white with red interior. After the fire, Jan had the car refurbished and painted black. In August 1963, Jan sold it to Jim Blanchard, who eventually restored it to its original glory. Jim has owned the car ever since. Visit Jim's site to read his article (from Corvette Restorer) on how he refurbished the car (and painted it red) in the early 1980sand don't miss the photo of Jan and Jim posing with the venerable old 'Vette.
